Thx to Angela over at Carter Factor (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/carter_factor) for typing this up.
I was just watching Access Hollywood and they had a new interview with
Aaron. Angel was with him too, but she didn't say anything. It looked
like they were on the porch of Nick's house (tiki hut lol) on the
Carter Compound. The tv screen said "courtesy of WTVJ" so maybe this
footage was something local from Florida? *shrug* [BTW, for anyone
interested, Aaron was wearing white pants and a white t-shirt. His
hair was short but kind of slicked back, not as spikey as on
Entertainment Tonight earlier this week.]
The segment started out as a story about Michael Jackson and his bday
gift for Aaron, but then it shifted to the Carter family situation with
Jane and Bob. Here's a transcript I typed up:
Reporter: Aaron Carter and Michael Jackson are such good friends that
the embattled pop star bought the 16 year old singer a $350,000 Bentley
after hearing him sing at a benefit concert at Neverland Ranch on
September 13th, only 2 months before being arrested on charges of child
molestation.
Aaron: He gave it to me, and it was actually for a charity that he was,
um, that he was doing, What More Can I Give, I did that song and he
said, "Since you did that song for me, I'll give you this."
Reporter: All that while Aaron is experiencing problems of his own.
Aaron: The business has and money has a very manipulative, conniving
way of deceiving people.
Reporter: While sitting on the front porch of his Florida home with
twin sister Angel, Aaron opened up about his bitter legal battle with
his mom and manager, Jane Carter.
Aaron: She's trying to sue me for money that apparently I owe, I owed
her when she owes me six to seven hundred thousand dollars, so, that
she had taken from me.
Reporter: Aaron claims his mother tapped into a significant portion of
his earnings without his knowledge, and now he's suing for complete
emancipation.
Aaron: I told her, "I don't want to live with you, ya know. You're
still my mom, I love you, but I want to be with my dad, ya know, I need
a father figure in my life."
Reporter: Now we should mention that Aaron's parents, Bob and Jane
Carter, are going through a divorce. Jane denies the allegations and
says quote, "I am a devoted mother and I am focused on doing what's
best for my children."
