ok i was over at hot topic tryin to find that book bag when i came across this: the story book of gc (http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&ITEM=461234&RN=357) i actually want it lol... chris is on the cover and it says theres 94 pages of pictures!!!! but hmm... i've never heard of the book!!!

I've seen this. It's unauthorized and the book is just crap. I mean, the pictures are good (old school Warped ones in there), but eh I don't know about everything else. It would just seem wrong to have a GC book. lol

hot topic are ripe offs!!! 13 bucks for a book that only has descent pictures in the middle when the rest is crap!!! and i was lookin at the dvd's the good charlotte dvd price is about 16 or 17 bucks!!! i got mine for 14 something!!! and for 16 or 17 your aren't gettin a whole lot!!! i mean its a good dvd but theres nothin to it... ya know?! i think thats why i never really went into those stores... the first time for me being in hot topics was the day before christmas eve!! lol but thanx for tellin me!!! i would've bought and looked at it and grrrr!!

Well, I don't think Hot Topic made the book. Some publisher made it (prolly trying to trick the little kids) and Hot Topic is just carrying it. And I got my DVD super cheap. $10.98 from Bestbuy.com lol

i know hot topic didn't make the book but just the fact that they put the dvd and the book and market it at a certain price for the store... its pathetic certain store market items at a price when they know damn well in other stores they aren't that price... ya know?! its the same thing with cd stores... lol thats why i have boycotted most of the cd/movie stores... theres only a few i'll go to lol... like circuit city!!!

Did the publisher jack the price up that high? Or did Hot Topic decide on that price? Cause I remember seeing books in a certain store and then going to a regular grocery store that sells books and you could find it for like $5. Not sure if that's the same deal with the GC book. Regardless, I wouldn't pick it up. :laugh:
