Different sources report that Mariah is currently back in the studio to record her new,still untitled,album!

For this album Mariah is rumoured to collaborate with R&B diva Beyonce Knowles,new star Sean Paul and Ginuwine among others!

Mariah would also be working on the new bond theme with Sean Paul!

Can't wait for her new one...

Thanks for posting. September seems really far away though! I'd like to see Mariah and Craig David get together for a duet.

Yes,too far away,but it's better than having an album in 2005 I suppose...
Don't know about the Craig David duet looking at his chart positions with his last few singles.
I quite like him though so I wouldn't mind...

I hate Ginuwine though. He just would sound good siging that sog with her.

I'd rather her not collaborate with anyone. She's collaborated with so many people already! It would be something different if she just did one album without the help of 25 other artists. =/

Sounding quite interesting. I've got much higher hopes for this album than I had for Charmbracelet! Can't wait to hear the Bond theme.

I was watching TRL yesterday and they said that her album will be out in May. The name of the new album is called "Lollipop".

Same here. Especially not with Sean Paul and Beyonce.

Although if true this is superb news but i think Mariah should wait till 2005. it would mark 2 years after the last album. She needs a break as much a possible. Mariah works too hard. i do not want her to end up in the hospital again. Mariah do not let universal work you too much!

i saw that too!!!!!!!!! honestly, mariah should do away with the one-word titles, it's getting sillier by the minute.

MARIAH Carey's next album will be called "Lollipop," and is described as a mix of "sensual, funky groove[s] that should hit radio in mid- to late May," according to music insiders on thevelvetrope.com. But Cindi Berger, Carey's rep, said the advance buzz might be a tad premature. "Mariah has been working on the album in the studio, but there is no time frame or title set yet." Here's hoping this effort does better than Carey's last clunker, "Charmbracelet."

I think that she doesn't want that "diva" label placed on her if she does all the songs alone. And after a while, making the same slick, identical ballads with Walter Afanasieff can get pretty tiresome too, so that's why she's doing collaborations now. Had been like that throughout her late '90s albums.
