Sad News, Tug McGraw had died

He passed away after a short battle with brain cancer.

We had Ron Swaboda on yesterday, and he shared some great stories of his time and memories with/of McGraw. He seemed to be a great person, one who loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Swaboda kept saying McGraw had both a "busy mind" and a "beautiful mind."

McGraw will be sorely missed.

And let me take a moment to tell the Phillies PR department to go to Hell. Yesterday aboiut noon-time I get their e-newsletter, which they only release when they have news worthy posting. Yesterday's e-mailing, sent at least 10 hours after the death of McGraw: Breaking News: Phillies move from the Vet to Citizen's Bank Park. Not one mention of the passing of McGraw.
