The Son of God has told friends he is planning to audition for the next series of Pop Idol. Our Holy Lord And Saviour hopes to wow the judges with his renditions of "Onward Christian Soldiers", "Lord of All Hopefulness, Lord Of All Joy" and "Mmmbop" by Hanson.

Simon Cowell is reported to be unimpressed.
