"Y'all" is now a part of your daily vocabulary.
You go through the checkout line and ask the nice man to please get you a medium soda instead of a pop.
You refer to home as "that place up north"

LMAO! I've had personal experience with that southern Ohio accent!!! Many years ago, I was managing with Wendy's in West Virginia, and they had the franchise territory for parts of Ohio as well. They were opening a new store in Ironton (pronounced ARN-(t)un :p ) at the very southern tip of the state, right across the river from Ashland, KY.
They put me on the carry-out window, and I lasted for all of about 3 minutes......it was decided that I couldn't understand the customers, they couldn't understand me, and I needed to be behind the scenes, inside, where I wouldn't have to try to figure out what the hell they were saying!

Three Ways You Know You've Adjusted to College in Middle Tennessee:
1.) Y'all is now part of your vernacular.
2.) You ask that nice lady at IHOP for a Coke and then get a water with lemon.
3.) You refer to home as 'that place up north.'
ahahahaha

Okay, it goes back quite a few years, but here are the top 3 ways you know you've adjusted to college in Pittsburgh:
1. "Y'uns" is part of your vernacular
2. When you want to go to the part of the city where the tall buildings are, you go "Daan-taan"
3. You refer to home as "that place back East"

I must be a southern hick then, because that's not how people around here pronounce it. LOL
