View Full Version : OT - Smacking The Country's Radio Stations

Well... I'd like to smack Britney, too, just cause technically she started it.

Now all the stations around the country (I've heard of 3-4 of em so far) are doing a contest. They're sending a winner and a friend to Vegas to party it up, get married, and then immediately get it annulled.

You know... I thought it was a shame that Britney did that. Poor judgement if nothing else. But at least she wasn't trying to PROMOTE it.

These people at the radio stations think this is so fun - as do many listeners.

So much for the sacredness of vows. This whole thing is just allowing everyone to make a mockery of marriage.

Maybe I'm just over-reacting but it's really ticking me off. I guess because of my own personal feelings about how important marriage is. Just had to vent about it. :) I'm done!

The NY Post has a promotion to Win Britney's Wedding as well.

It upsets me too, but hell, anything for a dollar, I guess.

I think it is Clear Channel related. So we need to smack Clear Channel.

We need another reason to smack Clear Channel????

And to think, there are conservatives around who are complaining that gay marriage rights will hurt the institution!

Sadly, more gays I know have stronger relationships than most heteros I know.
