Carolina made it through another week!
It didn't seem like either team wanted to win that game! Not surprising, given next week's trip to either Philly or Green Bay!

I thought Carolina showed they wanted to win the game. I think the Rams didnt want to win the game, they kept Bulger in way too long and they had 30 seconds left at the 15 yard line 1 time out and the dont do anything except let the clock run and wait until it reaches 1 second and kick the field goal.

Venis, Carolina had way too many really stupid penalties......witness the delay of game while they were setting up for the game-winning field goal.
They're an exciting team, but I think they're done now. I doubt they can beat either the Eagles or the Packers next week.
I'm thinking Eagles-Pats in Houston, if the Eagles can overcome the injuries to both Westbrook and Vincent today.

Too many injuries to key players, Dave!
Westbrook, Emmons, Vincent, Mayberry, and I don't even remember who else is out......Westbrook and Vincent are really hard to replace.

after watching both games, Carolina seems a little stronger overall at this point, especially Defense. Defenses win championships, so eventhough i like both teams, i think Carolina will win. i'll be happy either way.
as far as the AFC goes i truly hope the Colts cream the Pats .
no matter who wins the AFC & NFC championship games, it will definitely be a hella lot more interesting than the last Super Bowl. besides the Ravens Super Bowl win i haven't been 1/2 as bored as last yrs SB in a LONG time.

Can you say goal line stance? Home field advantage? Wind chill factor of below Zero? Been there done that? One MVP down one more to go...... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PATS!

Carolina is a strong team....i am really hoping that Philly is going to overlook them....that seems to be what a lot of other teams have been doing.
the last time the panthers and eagles played the eagles got the best of the cats. eagles won by 9 with panthers kicker having a very very very odd and bad day. Kasey missed 3 field goals and an extra point. if he would have made those it would have been a totally differnt game....coulda woulda shoulda the eagles got the best in regualar season.
panthers are a tougher team now...so lets see on sunday.
GO PANTHERS!!!

If everything I've heard from the Eagles' players is accurate, there is no way in hell they're going to overlook the Panthers.
They made that mistake last year against Tampa Bay. In a series of interviews with players today, each of them talked about how good the Panthers are, and how they're going to have to be on their best game this weekend.
No looking past this game to the next one going on here.
