Solo debut from 'NSync's JC Chasez now set for late-February release

January 13, 2004 03:51 PM - "Schizophrenic," the debut solo album from 'NSync member JC Chasez, is now scheduled to reach stores on Feb. 24, a month later than initially planned.

Though fans will have to wait a little longer for the album, its first single, "Some Girls (Dance with Women)" is currently gaining significant airplay at pop radio stations, according to Jive Records. Chasez recently filmed a video for the track in Los Angeles and New York with director Martin Weisz.

According to Jive, Chasez is featured in the Jan. 16 issue of Entertainment Weekly, and additional stories will surface in the coming weeks in Rolling Stone, People, Blender, Spin and USA Today.

Chasez is also expected to appear on several television shows in February, including "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Ryan Seacrest Show," "Live with Regis & Kelly," and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

In December, Chasez embarked on a brief club tour, where he previewed many songs from the forthcoming album.

How ironic.

At first in the fall I thought it would come out and I could get it when I was home for Fall Break.

Then it got pushed back and I think "OK, I'll get it over Thanksgiving break!"

And then it turned into "Christmas break!"

Now I'll be on freakin SPRING break. I pray to Justin Timberlake that this is the final date.
