Does anyone here have DVD burning capability on their comps? What kind of things do you burn? How much do blank DVD's cost ya? Do you get good quality? Have you ever burned anything like a slide show onto a DVD? Is there an easy way to make sure the pictures will fit the TV and not come out all pixily?

Yeah, that's all sorts of questions, I know and I'll be greatful for any answers :)

I do.

I make these mini-movies with my digital camera so I put them on there. Also some photos and stuff as a slide show of sorts.

DVD-Rs are pretty expensive still. I know you can get one for 7, 8
dollars but to get more it's a bit cheaper, I know you can get like 10 for 30 dollars or something. I don't know if those come in cases or not.

The quality is good as long as you have good DVD-Rs and a good burner, I mean it's just like a CD-R/RW.

Yes, I have.

I use Windows Movie Maker and that worked, I don't know if I did something or if it was pre-set or what, but yeah, it worked.

Thanks :) My concern with the pixely thing is that when I play the slide show on my comp in full screen it shows up all funny and I'd hate to burn all these shows and then have them not work...lol I am hoping I can find a friend with a burner now so I can get this done before my parent's anniversary party at the end of the month.
