Now it will be coming out in Feb. Why are a lot of big name artists avoiding January to release their albums? JC should have put this album out a few months back.

And he wanted to. It's out of his control.

I repeat, none of this is JC's fault.
He's said repeatedly the record is ready and he wanted to release it a long time ago.
Why deprive him of success because you're angry at his label?

I happen to know this cd was done almost a year ago. He had been working on it before they completed the last leg of the Celebrity tour. It was all the rage during the last show in Orlando. I don't know what the hold up was in Jan but I do know that Justins tour in Europe had something to do with one of the release dates. I'm a Lance girl with Chris issues but I will suport any and all of the guy's adventures. Can't wait to see Joey as the big bad wolf.
:D

Doesn't Chris have enough issues of his own?

I agree--I haven't seen a big name artist release their album in January yet! I like that January effect--Van Halen always did it with most of their albums in the '70s/'80s. Britney Spears did it in '99 with her debut and later sold 10 million aftewards. I like that boastful " I'm gonna blow up the whole year by dropping the album in January!" effect from artists. Maybe they feel that listeners are still playing last year's albums and are not ready for the new year's music yet. But artists should never avoid January--they can start the new year with a blast with their new albums in that month. Listeners are hungry for new music in that month too, not March or April. Maybe JC didn't feel the album sounded right, so he pushed it back.
