Has anyone else received this stuff in the mail?
It's "Prayer By Letter's" from Saint Matthew's Churches in Rulsa, OK.
My mom and my sister both recieved this "rug" (it's a thin peice of paper the size of a calender) with a picture of Jesus on it...You're supposed to get on your knee's and look at it for an hour or so until you see the eyes of Jesus open and look at you.
I think I remember receiving something from this Prayer By Letter's before...but anyway...My sister, Misty, was showing me this "rug" and I could immediately see the "eyes of Jesus" as they would say. I'm sure if you stare at anything long enough you'd see something that you thought you didn't see in the first place..but anyway!
I for one...believe that this gives the Christian community a bad rap..cuz' people will feel that not only do they have churches knocking on their door's...incouraging them to go to church...but now they infect their mail boxes.
I think it's wrong. People already feel like Christian's shove God down their throats and this will just further their thoughts. Plus I'm sure if you mailed back the letter like they asked...you'd receive a HUGE amount of junk mail back.
So what do you think?
Have you ever received anything like this?
