LA Lady

Guys I have to share this story... about how God really answers prayers!
Back last June, Jenn and I went to LA with EJay for an event. I brought my fold out makeup / travel bag.
In that bag, I put my two special rings - one that Jenn got me for graduation, and a $$$$$$$$ ring that my mother got me for my birthday a few years back - Platinum and Tanzanite. It's gorgeous, and QUITE expensive.
After LA I couldn't find the bag... but I chalked it up to it being in my messy messy car. About 3 months ago I cleaned out my trunk of my car (yeah, it took THAT long for me to get around to it) and realized that there was no bag in there.
(You'd think I'd have looked sooner, but since I never wore the rings often, it was an "out of sight out of mind" thing so I never really looked, because I always assumed the bag was in its place in my linen closet)
Anyhow. I finally realized my bag was gone, and that the rings were in there. I freaked. How was I ever going to explain to my mother that I lost that friggin expensive ring?
So I avoided talking about it at all costs, and over the holidays just said I left it home.
I have been praying for the past 3 months, asking God to somehow work his magic and bring the rings back to me... knowing that there's no way I'd ever get them back from being lost in LA 8 months ago. But I prayed anyway. Because I had to.
So anyway, this week, EJay is visiting, and in a discussion tonight, we were talking about losing things. I mentioned that bag and my rings... and he said, "Wait. You mean that black fold out makeup bag with the zipper and the hanger?" I said, "Yeah. That's the one." And he said, "Damn. I have that bag at home! I wondered whose it was! And I thought it was yours but I kept forgetting to ask you, when we'd talk!"
God totally answered my prayers and brought my rings back to me! (Well I don't have them in hand yet, but I know they're safe!)
I just had to share that because seriously I'm about to cry I'm so happy and relieved!
:)
That's all!
So if God can answer my prayer about some measly rings (which, in the scheme of life, they're just measly rings)... I know He can help every one of us with whatever our great needs are!
:) Sorry to preach, but I am SO HAPPY!
