*Sighs* Let us go back in time a bit to see how a Mariah Carey project could of not been such a smash.
Here are my thoughts on how it wasn't extremely successful.......
1. TITLE CHANGE
The project should have remained "All That Glitters" Having it with that 1 word automatically down grades the project. No one will take anything seriously with just the word "Glitter" and being the fact that most mariah albums titles are 1 word everyone assumed "Glitter" was an album not a soundtrack.
2. RELEASE DATE
No one could of predicted the horrible events of 911 (except Bush who knew all along but that is another topic) This also had major impact on the movie.
3. RUSH PRIORITY
"Glitter" although any true fan will say it was a great movie seemed so rushed. if giving alot more time the movie would've been released into 2002 and would've been a smash.
4.VIRGIN RECORDS
Those crackhoes over at that label did not promote "Glitter" to it highest bounds. the singles would've had a much higher impact if promoted properly.
*Sighs* Although I loved this movie and soundtrack. I still cannot believe what has happened. Mariah came through the rain and survived. I am so happy for her and many more projects are on the way. Mariah Carey will go down in the books as a legend. and Mariah.........I LOVE YOU TONS.
