the authentic Chinese food you get from Malaysia, or Hong Kong, or Singapore, or wherever tastes SOOO different to Chinese food in western countries. - anyone else agree? I miss real chinese food... I used to love chinese food here in Australia, but once you live on the real stuff, you cant go back.
The REAL chinese food i love is Kailan (sp?) in oyster sauce and char quay teow. i love these yam dumplings with char siew chicken in them too, i just dont know what they're called. Oh.. and ANY dim sum is always good! u cant go wrong with dim sum.

I'm not a huge fan of fried rice... so I prefer steamed rice, chinese style veggies and sweet and sour chicken balls. I agree that the authentic chinese food would taste better. There are even some restaurants that taste all fake.... as opposed to others. MSG isn't so good either lol

I like chicken with vegetables and cashews, and beef with bamboo shots. Sweet and sour prawns is A-ok by me as well. But I like most of the chinese food I've tried.
