LOL. I look at the Nationwide leagues sometimes to see how the 3 Welsh clubs are doing.

Swansea, Wrexham and Cardiff, and they should be in the League of Wales, not the nationwide!

No offence to the LOW but if Wrexham, Swansea and Cardiff were in the LOW then they'd dominate it and plus the LOW is only semi-professional; Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham are full-time. I've seen LOW matches and it's not that great, well, not as good as the Notionwide.

I just feel it is unfair to let them in and not say Rangers and Celtic?? Those 3 teams would then be able to get into europe and the uefa cup though???

Yeah, I can understand what you mean. I'm not entirely sure of the rules but my dad seems to think that if the Scottish teams played in the Premiership then the British international teams would be made to play as Britain and not as England, Scotland and Wales etc. If this is the case then the only reason I can think of why the three Welsh clubs can play in the English league is because the League of Wales is only semi-professional and the Scottish leagues are full-time. I'm not saying that that is the case but it's a possibilty.

I'm not sure on that rule either. I think Muffin's makes a valid point that the Welsh League is only semi-professional. But, Celtic and Rangers do make the other teams in the Scottish League look only semi-professional too :p

If Celtic and Rangers ever joined the english league, scottish footy would soon become semi professional!
I assume that when the leagues were first set up, wrexham, swansea and cardiff went to join the english ones as there was no welsh ones at the time?? I think the FAW is quite new?? I see that the 3 teams all play in the welsh cup though? The welsh FA is pretty useless as well from what I have seen...
0-0 draw for the Stags last night, so close to automatic promotion!

Transfer all Celtic and Rangers players and recruit new players to make a whole new team. Haha. Bad for the fans though. :p

I'm not sure how old the FAW is. It's not always great, no lol! For one, the way they handle tickets for home matches is not good. At least they cut the prices last year which made it more of a family atmosphere. Yes, the Welsh teams play in the FAW cup. I've only ever seen Cardiff play in the FAW Cup out of them, Wrexham and Swansea and they put out a reserve team.
