(Las Vegas, NV) - It's not a done deal yet, but a new Cirque du Soleil show based on The Beatles "Yellow Submarine" is expected to replace the "Siegfried and Roy" show at The Mirage. The "Review-Journal" says the stage version of the Fab Four's 1960's cartoon film had been planned for London's West End, but is now heading to the Las Vegas Strip. The long-running "Siegfried and Roy" closed last year after illusionist Roy Horn suffered serious injuries from one of his white tigers in October. Mirage parent MGM Mirage says the company had to write off $1.4 million in theater assets from "Siegfried and Roy" last year because of the closure.
