This statement is from Blayne (owner of the former SoCoCentral.com and friend to the band).
I am writing to you in great sadness on Saturday, the 31st day of January, 2003. I am writing to you so that rumors and such don't start flying around and so that everyone knows the truth. Yesterday some friends and I drove up to Palo Alto to see Something Corporate play at the 104.9 3rd birthday bash concert. Just before the show Brian informs me about new changes in the band and this is what i am going to tell you about. William Tell has decided to leave the band. He wants to do his own things for a while such as school and otherness that fits him at this point of time in his life. William did not play the show last night. Instead, Bob "Raw" Anderson, From River City High, has replaced him for now.
Of course with every band there are new changes and new
developments. The band needs the support and well wishes from you guys
at this time so i would like to ask instead of complete complaining
you at least try to understand the position the band is in and know
that they are regular people who lead lives and this seems to be the
right thing for william at this time.
There will be new developements and Our Beloved Something Corporate
are NOT breaking up. Anyhow, I just wanted to let you guys know this
information before the rumors start flying.
