One of my favorite parts of watching the Super Bowl last night was finding out that there is going to be an all-star tribute to the Beatles on the Grammys this weekend.
I'm interested in who will be apart of it. Dave, have you heard anything?

It was 40 years ago today... Er, ago yesterday.
Yesterday... All my troubles seemed so far away...
Anyway, what I'm saying is yesterday was the 40th anniversary of the Beatles hitting #1 for the first time... Essentially it was the start of the Beatles regime. So they are doing something to honor the start of it all. What they have planned, I have little idea. Hopefully something putting Macca and Ringo on the same stage at the same time.

Yep, I know that. :p It's the reason the American History museum has those photographs up right now. This weekend on the radio station here it's going to be Beatles weekend and next Wednesday they're playing a copy of the DC concert from 40 years ago. Pretty awesome.
Yeah, I'm hoping that too. I'm wondering if it will be some of the same people that were apart of Concert For George, I would assume so. Definitely excited to see what will happen.

Taken from the Springsteen forum:
Sting, Dave Matthews, Vince Gill (news) and the Neptunes' Pharrell Williams have signed on for a Grammy tribute to the 40th anniversary of the Beatles' first U.S. television appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show."

Hmm.. Sting, maybe.. Dave, definitely.. but the last two? They're actually going to play the Beatles? LOL I hope Dave is Paul.

Well, after the Super Bowl, I'm guessing whoever plays Lennon will not be dressed like the cover of Two Virgins. :p
