At a news conference on Thursday to promote an upcoming joint tour, younger divas Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys and Missy Elliott largely dodged the issue of Jackson's televised indiscretion after reporters sought comment over the objections of a publicist.
"I'm a big fan of Janet," Elliott finally said. "I'm not here to judge...I stand behind her always, so that's all I have to say about it."
Keys chimed in with an "Absolutely," while Knowles sidestepped a question about Jackson's state of mind during a photo shoot the day after the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, like the rest of us, dance star Moby can't understand all the fuss caused by Janet's exposure at last Sunday's Super Bowl.
The bewildered star says: "People seem to be very upset about her slightly exposed tassled breast.
"I don't want to seem like a cranky hippie, but what's the big deal?
"Why are people more upset about their children seeing a quasi-exposed tassled breast than about their children seeing people shot and killed during prime time dramatic TV?"
Speaking on www.moby.com he goes on: "Let's be realistic. Is there a child in TV-land who hasn't seen a lot more than Miss Jackson's tassled breast?
"Show me a 10-year-old boy who hasn't seen an image of a naked breast and I'll show you a child who either lives under a rock or will grow up a serial killer. Breasts are fine. What's the big deal about breasts?"
