The Vicodin is starting to wear off..

That hella sucks. What happened?

Well, I pulled a muscle in my back last Friday (Jan. 30th) while I was at work (I was lifting boxes and moving them around). Wel, I went to the doctor on Monday and he said that I probably pulled a few muscles and gave me a pain killer (Darvocet) and a muscle relaxer (Soma). Well, it seemed to be getting better, and then yesterday when I went to get the milk out of the fridge (oh, I'm also out of work till Monday because of it.. anyways,) I got a SHOOTING pain in the left side of my back and I couldn't hold the milk jug because it was too heavy and it was killing my back.

So I went to see a Chiropractor later in the day after I could get up from the couch and walk (it's really restricted my walking to.. I can't stand for more than a few minutes without haing really bad pains and spasms in the left side of my back). Well, he said the same thing my doctor did, did an adjustment and gave me another perscription for Darvocet (which I told him didn't help me at all. They just made me hyper). Well, this morning it took me almost 5 minutes just to sit up in my bed. Um. OW. So I called Chuck (he's on duty today) and asked him to drive me to the ER since it's a Saturday and doctors offices are closed.

So he came and got me and we went there. Got to see a doctor and he gave me a perscription for Vicodin (FINALLY). So yeah, they work like a charm, but they give me a headache which really sucks ass.

But I have to go back to my doc on Monday for a follow up, because if it's still like this I'm probably gonna have to get an MRI :(

I hope you get to feeling better. Backpain is nothing to mess with, and it sucks.

However, Vicodin rules. I was on that for pain for knee surgery once. Originally I was on Percoset, but it made me trip (as in acid trip, not as in falling over my feet). I saw tye dyed images... and man... it was like a kalidoscope (I know I spelled that wrong).

Well, I didn't really think about it while I was at work, and I just kept on working after it happened. But I talked to my boss the next day because it hurt really bad and I needed the day off and she got ahold of the people at HR and Workers Comp. A lady called me from there yesterday to get my statement and ask me a bunch of questions. But they're investigating it right now and I won't know anything till Monday probably. But since I didnt file it right away I might be outta luck.

But I just took another one and half an Ambien so I'll be out in a few minutes, lol
