The one with the chocolates on it?! DUDE! I'm TRYING to work up the discipline to go on a diet and that is so not helping.
Just thought I'd vent.
I'm embarrassed, too, I was acting all smart to this guy a bit ago and he was all "Whatchoo gonna do?" and I was like "I have to go study for an exam. I'ma be a paralegal!" then he was "Whatchoo gonna study?" and I'm just "I have a lot of legalology...terms...to memorize...*dies*"
Legalology?!

Legalology?! I know the banner you're talking about!
On a related note, has anyone else tried the Hershey's candy hearts that are out now? They're chocolate, and I thought they'd be the same as kisses, only shaped like hearts......but they're NOT! They're even BETTER!!!!! Not quite as sweet, but very creamy!
Oh, I guess I'm not helping anybody's diet, am I???
So, then, try the new Diet Coke with lime. It's fabulous!
And, Lois, I understand that "legalology" probably isn't a word in the English language, but haven't you invented a few of your own?

Sunfire, did you watch the sheep video yet?
LoisFatone
Feb 8th, 2004, 10:41 PM
I have unintentionally invented a few words, yes...it just doesn't usually happen when I'm trying to sound smart in front of a cute guy. That's what I get!
Y'all, Hershey's has sugar free chocolate hearts out!! I saw them at Target! I'ma have to try them!!
Legalology. Okay. Okay, so what would the right word be? I was trying to say something and then I forgot, so I said that instead.
Oh.
Legal terminology.

Nope. Not Hugs.
They have nuts where there's supposed to be chocolate. :p
JCs_Gurl_Roze
Feb 8th, 2004, 10:47 PM
I know, but I really do have a jar of Hugs on top of my desk :p
Wait, that doesn't make sense. They have nuts where the chocolate is supposed to be?
pinky
Feb 8th, 2004, 10:49 PM
If I can have chocolate with a nut inside, or chocolate that's all chocolate, keep the nuts to yourself, and give me pure chocolate! :p
JCs_Gurl_Roze
Feb 8th, 2004, 10:53 PM
I'm not sure what that means...
I like nuts in my chocolate.
LoisFatone
Feb 8th, 2004, 10:55 PM
What's a Hug? Are y'all talking dirty?
I should've said that, pinky! I'm southern!! We shorten words ALL the time! Y'all. Whatchoo. Joo. All that good chit. Dang.

Lois whatchoo doin'?
And a hug is like chocolate wrapped in chocolate... right?
pinky
Feb 8th, 2004, 11:11 PM
Hugs are like Hershey Kisses, but with almonds in the middle.
Three Musketeers are good, but just plain chocolate is best.

I AM polite! Thankee! :D
You're polite, too!
We should collaborate and write a book about that! Or a pamphlet! Or take out an ad in the paper. Or a...we could just keep saying thank you...I forgot where I was going with this.
That's not a lot!! Not at all, dude, no worries!
I've had a bootyload. I ate...when I woke up...um.
Shoot.
Daggumit!
OH! Right, right, I had some canned pears. I hate those, blech! But they were good. Then I had a Hot Pocket! It was a meatball and moza...mozze...mozerell...meatball and white cheese one! I took it apart and threw out the meatballs and it was SO good. Luff those. I had a LOT of pretzels and salsa. Some celery. Some raisins and craisins. Some jelly. Pickles and mustard! And I think something else...
I dunno, but I ate more than you, so feel good! :D
Whatchoo doin?
Sunfire
Feb 8th, 2004, 11:29 PM
Ok yay! Thank you! Writing times! You write, though, cuz I suck at writing. :( Psshaw.
Dude, you had good food! Canned pears is good! You know what I luff, though? Canned pineapple. I should get some tomorrow. Even though that chit is canned, it's still good for you, right? RIGHT?! I hope so. :(
Where can I get an MP3 player? Target? Why is it MP3? Why not MP1? Or MP1383?
JCs_Gurl_Roze
Feb 8th, 2004, 11:32 PM
No, that stuff is not good for you at ALL. It may be fruit, but when they cook it and can it, it takes away all the nutrients, then they cover it in all that corn syrup. The same thing with canned vegetables, but everyone still eats them anyways. Really the way to go is just to eat fresh fruits and veggies, but... you know.
And I think it's called MP3 because it has 3 layers or something.
LoisFatone
Feb 8th, 2004, 11:42 PM
They don't cook canned fruit...or if they do, I never heard that before. Or read about it or noticed that it seemed cooked. But then again there's a lot more stuff that I don't know than I do, so yeah:D
If you get the juice packed kind, it's still good for you. Vitamins, minerals, nutrients. Plus it kills bacteria when they're canned. It's still all good:D
Sunfire
Feb 8th, 2004, 11:45 PM
Well yeah, of course fresh is the best way! But I don't always have time.
Dude, canned pineapple is good times! That probably still has all the vitamans and chit in it, right?! Like the Dole kind?! I luff it.
Lois, you still gonna be on in like an hour?
JCs_Gurl_Roze
Feb 8th, 2004, 11:50 PM
I didn't mean they cook all the fruits, just when they cook stuff and can it in general. It loses Vitamin C and fiber when they take off the skin.
That's just what my mom always told me. But she probably just lied to me cuz she didn't want me eating the stuff or something.

I always thought that the Hugs were called that because the chocolate was "hugging" the almond.
:hah: Pinky :o
P.S. I don't like white chocolate, either, so I wouldn't like Hugs anyway......glad I haven't missed anything!

While I was looking for a picture of a Hug, I found this recipe. I'm guessing it will work with any brand of chocolate candy:
Recipe: Hershey's Hugs Chocolate Brownies
20 ea Hershey's Hugs
1 Pouch Hershey Triple Chocolate Chunk Brownie Mix
2 tbsp water
1/2 cup Canola Oil
2 large eggs
Heat oven to 325 degrees
1.Grease (or use cooking spray) bottom of 11 X 7 baking pan
2. Mix brownie mix, water, oil, and eggs in mixing bowl until well blended.
3. Evenly spread mixture in baking pan.
4. Arrange 20 unwrapped Hershey Hugs in rows on batter. Slightly press each one into batter.
5. Bake for 43 - 46 mins or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
6. Cool brownies for at least 1 hour before cutting.
7. Store in a covered container.
Servings: approx 20 brownies
Sounds heavenly!
