View Full Version : I've never seen ANYONE at a keyboard spazz like that.

It brought a smile to my cynical lips.

I liked Beyonce and Prince too. I know she annoys another people, but I've always liked her.

Christina did a great job...it's been so long since I remember her actually sounding that good.

But wtf happened to the sound during my precious Alicia:greyno:?? Did that happen to anyone else? I'm hoping I get a clear vid file of this later.

Sting is cool.

....RINGO:blueeek:??

My favorite "sound issue" was when Celine's mic wasn't working, and you could somehow hear the people behind the scenes buzzing around and freaking out about whether or not to bring a working mic up to Celine or what.

Celine handled it so well. Her mic was out and then her in-ear monitors blew... but she sang so well anyway! :)

Yeah, I thought his mic was gonna break off.

Dammit - sorry BW! You're on the west coast, I'm so out of it. Well listen for it. Sorry. At least it wasn't a big spoiler. :(

I really wouldn't know....Mr. Pink was going on and on about how she shouldn't have been singing that, why was she up there, and she has a stupid accent!

I told him she'd probably think his accent is stupid.

Then I explained that her father had died recently, and that's what the song is about.

But they STILL should have had Ruben Studdard do it......he sounds so much like Luther!

i really liked his performance, im glad that he played the keyboard because so many people think he cant play instruments (well maybe not as much now) alot of people just think he is a singer dancer, and i think he really showed off his musical talent in many areas.

She does have a stupid accent.

Didn't she sing before Justin? So if he's seen Justin, then he saw her, right? Or am I wrong?

Lol yeah, I had seen Celine by the time I posted. She went on right after Alicia, remember;)?

Okay, final thoughts.

I think it's absolutely ridiculous that with this much-publicized five minute delay or whateverthefart, they still had sound issues for over half of Celine and Alicia's performances. I mean jeebuz, I know it happens and all, but seriously. Stoopid people. *kicks them*

Basically it was a pretty good show though. In the second half it kinda went downhill a tiny bit with neon flashing scary rappers and stuff.

I love Beyonce, but girl, you can end the song anytime now.

Yay for Justin's Grammy! *licks it*

I love how the JJB and Christina board members are absolute lunatics.

Mmm Hmmm.

*nods*

:music: <----Justin tonight.

I thought he did a great job! Even the DJs on the radio this morning (who usually make fun of him) said that they thought his was the best performance...and I so agree! :D

I seriously got like 10 e-mails from fellow RIM people and they were all like, "GIRL DID YOU SEE YOUR BOY! HE TORE IT UP!"

And I responded back to all of them, "Yes, I know. He did."

But seriously. The sound people FINALLY fixed it by his performance. Everything sounded really good. I was impressed with it completely. Amazing. It was awesome.

And I LOVED the Funk Tribute thingy... I thought it was awesome.

I was actually kind of surprised by how great she was. But I do love that song....Its her best ever.
