I would've thought you'd hope for him to get back to Atlanta somehow.

That would be nice, but they haven't even talked about it. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Chicago again.

I have to admit, I'm kind of sad he signed with the Cubs instead of the Yankees, but Chicago is a good place for him to go. Congrats James :p

Cheers Katie! In the words of the great Bill Clinton "I feel your pain." I was sad when Maddux left for Atlanta in 1992. Congrats on picking up A-Rod!

I'm glad he signed with the Cubs. He should be a nice addition to the amazing lineup.

Even Maddux can't get them there!

I have nothing against the Cubs. I would have loved seeing them in the World Series.

But, at the end of the day, at the end of the season, they're still going to be the Cubs.

"Do they still sing the blues in Chicago,
when baseball season rolls around?
When the snow melts away,
do the Cubbies still play
in their ivy-covered burial ground?
When I was a boy they were my pride and joy
but now they only bring fatuige
To the home of the brave,
the land of the free,
and the doormat of the National League"

- Chorus to "A Dying Cubs' Fan Last Request"
Steve Goodman
