A-Rod a Yankee

Reports first sprung up this morning that Yankee GM Brian Cashman had been in talks with Texas to get Alex Rodriguez.

Latest reports are that it's a done deal and will be anounced this week (good timing, as it's spring training). The reported deal is A-Rod and cash for Soriano and a minor league prospect or two.

A-Rod would fill the gap at third that was created when Aaron Boone decided to wreck his knee playing basketball.

I really hate the Yankees now. I hated them before this, and now my hate knows no bounds. In fact, I loathe them.

I hope they don't even make the playoffs this year. Not likely that will happen, but I can make sacrifices to Joboo(sp) in the hopes that they miss it by one game. :p
