starting a small business? I've heard that "Small Business For Dummies" is too vague. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

I've had my own business for a few years, now my friend wants to start one too. My family helped me get started but I don't know how to tell her to get started.

I guess I'll suggest she go to the library.

Sorry, but I can't help you out. The library is a great resource, but if that doesn't help you, try a Barnes and Noble.

I can recommend a book for making a business plan (The Sucessful Business Plan: Secrets & Strategies, by Rhonda Abrams) that we used in one of my college classes (I think it was Small Business Management). Other than that I would recommend going to amazon.com where you can view customer reviews before buying the books. Hope that helps.
