I was listening to some christian rock music. I noticed that some of the bands took the same music and redid it over in a Christian tone. some even took bands names and made christian like names... that is not original. they are marketing other people ideas and using it in other ways. they are like Weird Al, but just doing it in a Christian way. I find that disturbing, wouldn't that make it in someways stealing?

Can you give us an actual example of an artist who does that?

Weird Al does parodies. That's an unfair comparison between the two.
From what I've heard of Christian rock, it's pretty much the same music as secular rock, just different lyrics.

basically yeah. Depends on who you listen to though, there are a few good artists who do have a good style of their own, and then there are others who, in my opinion, just try to copy the secular pop chart hits and come out with music that's just as crappy.
