Leicester City were at the La Manga resort last week and some of the players have been arrested, 3 for sexual aggression towards 3 German women.

Football's name has been dragged through the mud recently. At the end of last year a 17 year old girl accused around 8 footballers of raping her but they weren't charged in the end. Then Leeds' Jody Morris was arrested for sexual assault on a woman and as far as I know this investigation is still ongoing. Morris has been released from his contract at Leeds recently. The other day the Daily Express claimed to know that about 200 professional players in England have a problem with drink!

yeah, i remember this case with the girl from last year!

why do these cases take such a long time??
i mean when these players are guilty and it's 100% sure they did the rape/crime, they should be punished immediately!!

Yes, just because some maybe well-known footballers that does not mean you can give them any previlages.

I don't think it's that. Cases take a long time because it's just the way the criminal justice system works, in Britain anyway. I read somewhere cases can take up to around 6 months to go to trial.

Micky Adams, the manager, has revealed that he offered to resign but the club didn't want him to. I mean, it's not his fault if these players did this, these are grown men who should be able to take responsibility for their own actions!

I also saw on the news on ITV the prosecution lawyer. She said that one man is alleged to have raped one woman, another player attempted to rape another woman and the other player held down another woman.
