Even though Britney Spears gets teary-eyed when asked about the past year, she wants everyone to know she is fine. 'I think hard times make you become a better person and make you stronger,' she tells Bop! magazine. In spite of the heartbreak she's gone through,Brit keeps focused on her career. She had a superfun time making the new album, and is currently on tour having a total blast performing the songs live! Just don't expect Brit to go retro on us 'I'm not doing '....Baby One More Time' and those big massive hits anymore',she confesses. 'I think the new record is where I'm at right now in my life.' As for that new album ,she dished on her feelings on some of the new songs. 'I think 'Everytime' is a really nice song. It's just kind of personal in a weird way. It's one of those songs that when you hear it ,it kind of takes you away into a very cool consciousness.' Britney admits to taking pieces of her real life experiences, whe ther it's winning awards or dealing with a painful breakup, while writing songs for 'In The Zone'. 'The track 'Brave New Girl' is a very liberating song for me.It's talking about just opening up and embracing change. It's about finding yourself and experimenting with new horizons.' An appreciation for spirituality has also given Brit a fresh new outlook on life. 'I love stretching and doing Yoga.I read a lot of books.I have a bunch of them that I read over and over again.I love to paint and do art.I love to swim.I think it's all good for the soul.'
