Finally. The drought is over (Toxic is Brit's first Hot 100 top 10 in four years).

Umm actually Britney is no where NEAR 3 million. Soundscan just released figures like two weeks ago and she was just a little over 2 million. There's no way that she gained like 700,000 - 800,000 sales in two weeks. And Christina is at 3.58 million, so Britney has a while. She'll end up passing her in the long run, but that's not really saying much to be quite honest.

I mean, honestly, what's a better CD, In The Zone or Stripped? To me, there really isn't any contest. Christina's musical growth was astounding really. Just compare the first album to the this one, it's like a totally different artist. With Britney..IDK. To me, this is just another Britney record. A lot of it is hype, which is why she sells so well. Of course, some does come from the music because her songs are catchy, but I don't even think she comes close to having the musical diversity that Christina has. I'm not saying that ITZ is a bad record, but honestly, I think one of the only reasons it's selling is because it's a "Britney Spears" CD.

Just my opinion though. :)

 Poor Christina fan. Oh, and yes, In the Zone is better than Stripped.

Anyway, congrats to Britney! She's doing great!

Finally in the top 10! After 8 weeks too! I remembered when "Oops I Did It Again" went top 10, but every single after that stalled in the 20s or 30s and one went as high as 11. Britney chose the right single this time! I knew that "Toxic" would do it! Hope it goes top 5 or so.
