"Boston" Warped Dates...

Since I know a bunch of us are attending the "Boston" shows....

So apparently the Warped dates have no home.

The people of Northhampon (::cough republicans cough::) have voted against warped tour being held there for 2 days.

In 1977 at some pot smoking hippie show, the people who attending the concert looted the town and caused mini riots and ****. They also said if the concert was only 1 day it would be ok but because it's overnight, they voted against it. They said they don't want to have unruly kids roaming the streets after the shows.

It's so lame and discriminatory cause you know if it was a concert like Justin Timberlake or a Britney Spears concert or something they wouldn't make a big deal. But they hear "punk" and all the conservatives go running to the town hall because their version of punk is still Sex Pistols and the Ramones.

Kevin said that they're most likely gonna bring it back to Suffolk which is awesome, but he's not 100% sure yet. I didn't even wanna go all the way to Northampton but it's just the principle of why they're not holding the shows there.

Holy Snap! That is completely unfair! Man... screw them. Have they never heard of Daytona during Spring Break?! Shoot, it's a bunch of noise, yeah, but it brings in so much money. People don't think!

dude I JUST found out about this.. we went onto the site tonight and thank you lord it's not in northampton! That was a 2.5 hour treck for us but Foxboro is only an hour away. I don't care where they have it, Foxboro or back at Suffolk(that would be ideal conisdering I could like WALK if I had to) just as long as it's not in east buttf---.

The tickets are going onsale tomorrow though for the 19th... IDK. I just wish it was all settled.

8/20 10 year REUNION show
foxboro stadium parking lot in foxboro, MA
southern massachusetts - about 40 minutes south of boston

I dunno if it's because the people on GCNaptown don't know that it's not in Northampton anymore or because it's gonna be spready out like that? I dunno.. I'm utterly confused.

They're both at Foxboro but apparently the anniversary show MAY be held inside the stadium.
