Virus help

I got a virus from my friends away message and my norton anti virus program wont run for some reason is there another way i can get rid of it

try another antivirus program...

www.grisoft.com AVG virus scanner, it's FREE, and pretty darn good (even BETTER than Norton and McAfee IMO).

some of the latest viruses HAVE been known to disable firewalls and virus scanners... it's the new "fad" in virus/worms lately..

Do you regularly update your Norton Anti-Virus???

Anti-Virus software is only as good as it's last update.
