Manchester and Celtic are returning to the States this year, and they are bringing some new friends! If you can call them friends, that is.

This year the U.S. tour will also have two other EPL teams (Clelsea and Liverpool), AC Milan an AS Roma from Serie A and one game with Bayern Munchen!

The sucky part for me is the Munchen/Manchester game is in Chicago, so I have little chance of going (and since I'm a fan of the Bundesliga, that sucks), but in my "neighborhood," Man U. will play Milan and Roma plays Liverpool... If I have the days off, maybe I can drive to the games in Philly or in Hartford. But the real cool one is Celtic will play Roma in the Skydome in Toronto.

Bayern is not my favorite team. Now is the Bundesliga my favorite league, but it's my third favorite, after the EreDivisie and the EPL.

My location is <--- There. ;)

I get Fox Sports World, so I get some games from various leagues.

A number of times, but all those games were Dutch. My last trip brought me to The Netherlands to see the U.S./Holland friendly, and later that trip I saw Roda JC/Volendam.

I went to one of the semi-final WC games when the tournement was here in '94. And I was at teh WWC this summer.

In other words, I've seen my share of good football. ;)

What about you? Canada isn't exactly a bastion of football?

Oh, I figured since you wrote wwc that you were.

I follow it. Right now the league is trying to restructure itself for relaunch. Hopefully it works out. A good performance at the Olympics would help that out.

I'm not sure when the friendly is but I think it might be played in Wrexham which is in North Wales rather than in the usual place of Cardiff which is in the south. I'll try and find the exact details.

Not sure yet. Wales is small but it takes a while to get up there. It depends on my dad and he didn't rule it out when I spoke to him about it earlier. It's play-off weekend that weekend so it'll be pretty mad around here.
