Eastern Conference
#1 Tampa Bay vs. #8 N.Y. Islanders
#2 Boston vs. #7 Montreal
#3 Philadelphia vs. #6 New Jersey
#4 Toronto vs. #5 Ottawa

Western Conference
#1 Detroit vs. #8 Nashville
#2 San Jose vs. #7 St. Louis
#3 Vancouver vs. #6 Calgary
#4 Colorado vs. #5 Dallas

Some great matchups in there. I'm gonna watch as many games as humanly possible, but I'm especially looking forward to Philly vs Jersey, Colorado vs Dallas, and Toronto vs Ottawa.

Also hoping the Stanley Cup finals end up in a match between Detroit (for the West) and Tampa Bay (for the East).

I'm not a big fan of the Stars overall, but you gotta admit Turco is a pretty awesome goalie. I'd take him on my team anyday, especially with that puck-handling ability. But as far as the rest of the team... http://talk.livedaily.com/images/ld/icons/eek.gif

The Stars have already lost their first two playoff games with spankings from Colorado. Unless Dallas wins 4 out of their next 5 games (which I'm really doubting now), they'll be knocked off in the first round.

But at least this sets up a classic second round rivalry matchup of Colorado and Detroit!

Colorado and Detroit will be awesome!!! I'm sure it'll go to at least six or seven gritty, hard-fought battles. :D

Turco is great, still hate the Stars!

Go Joisey! Go Isles! :)

ELIMINATED:

Dallas
Nashville
New Jersey
New York Islanders
St Louis

I'm glad to see New Jersey get eliminated so early, especially since Philly is looking good with the acquisition of one of my favorite players right now, Alexei Zhamnov. Now we'll have a new Cup winner!
