The only time I say "yay" for Dave is when I grace him with my presence for a game. :p

Fabulous as always. That was eight Yankee openers in a row... Maybe more. I forget nowadays. Between however many Red Sox openers I went to and days I cut to go to Yankee openers in college, the numbers get blurry. I've been to at least 11 Yankee openers now.
But this eight-game streak is easy to remember, as it's been a tradition for myself and John to go to these games since '97.

Yesterday's New York Post, on Page 3, had a comparison of Damon to a Neanderthal Man. One anthropologist, who seems to be a Yankee fan, said that there's no way any self-respecting caveman would be seen in a Red Sox uniform. I thought it was a riot.

Last night we were yelling at Damon the whole game, since we were in the center/left bleachers right by him. When it started raining, my friend Jill was like "Hey Jesus, can you turn this water into wine? We need some liquor in these bleachers.." Awesome.

What's with calling Johnny "Jesus"? Everyone was calling him that today in the bleachers. I didn't get it.

I would rather call him captain caveman cause he reminds me of that old cartoon. That hair is bring him luck he better not cut it.

I don't know what the heck he looks like. I guess I wouldn't go so far to call him Jesus since it goes against my spiritual belief, but I suppose I can see the resemblance.

Oh, brother.....ah spring training coinciding with release of movie Passion of the Christ? As we like to say he's our own personal Jesus....and as a believer I think JC would think it was a hoot...or we call him jesuschristsuperstar...go to NYYfans.com some of the thread posts are funny about his play, redsoxnation.com too.
