(Los Angeles-AP) -- Brian Wilson will receive a special honor from the performing rights organization B-M-I. Wilson will be honored as a B-M-I Icon at its awards dinner in Los Angeles on May eleventh. Wilson is the first songwriter B-M-I has honored with both an Icon award and a President's award.

Because I can? :p
Because this seems like the best place to post stories about the Beach Boys. The two bands are closely intertwined. In 20 years there may be a Justin board somewhere around, and I expect all sorts of *NSYNC, BSB, etc. stories will be posted there as it will be the most appropriate forum for such stories.
Many Beatles fans are Beach Boys fans as well, as both bands did a lot to influence one another.

Doesn't it?
Remember: No Brian, no Peppers. That's reason enough, no?

No! I'm the only who's got it right. Why would you want to worship someone who's dead? How great can they be if they couldn't even stay alive? I'm reinventing religion as we know it, and my way is the best. :D

At least if your deity is alive, you can get real answers to how your religion's supposed to be. No "well the book says this, but also this and this."

that's right, you can come straight to the source.
However, I do reserve the right to change the rules without notice, based upon my needs at the time.
