Wedding Bells for Nick Carter's Father
Pop star Aaron Carter's dad Bob chose the perfect day to marry his girlfriend Ginger Elrod - April Fools' Day. Earlier this year, Aaron was forced to call 911 and bail his mother Jane out of jail after she broke into his father's house and beat up Ginger. Now, starting their marriage on a happy note, "Bob and Ginger have dropped the assault charges against Jane, hoping this will be a new beginning for all of them," reveals a family insider. "Hopefully, they can finally live in peace."
Family Feud
The Enquirer has reported all the misadventures of the wildly dysfunctional Carter family - which is hoping to put their problems behind them. Bob, 51, and Jane, 45, had their divorce finalized in late March - and just over a week later, Bob and his 29-year-old girlfriend tied the knot in a freewheeling Key West, Fla. Bob's twin children Aaron and Angel, 16, were by his side. Their brother, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, who estranged from the family, was not present. Disclosed the insider: "Bob and Jane had a violent reationship for years, and only got worse after Ginger came into the picture.
Went Ballistic
"jane was hoping to eventually get back with Bob, so when he said he wanted to marry Ginger, she went Ballistic!" Ginger, Bob, teen singer Aaron and Angel "were all in good spirits" at the wedding, said the insider, "but they told their guests to keep the ceremony quiet - just so Jane wouldn't find out and crash in and ruin everything."
