Do most people go out for Mother's Day dinner or do you cook something special at home.

We'll fire up the grill and have an assorment of side dishes since we'll have 3 generations to feed.

Sometimes we go out. Only if Hubby is in a good mood to put up with parking, long waiting time to get a table in small, and crowded waiting areas, long waiting time to get the food, and cranky kids (ours and others around us) it maybe my day or on the rare time that we make it home, our Mom's day but we have to put up with his comments and complaints.

So more times that any, he ends up making a great dinner at home. I love having a husband that can cook.

We did end up grilling, but not the traditional BBQ fare. We had cornish hens that had been stuffed with canned apricot slices. We also had grilled veggies that were quite tasty.
