I'm sorry, but I'm deeply disappointed that any artist would go by the one-name moniker of "Lennon."

what are you talking about?

There's a new Avril wanna-be out there who goes by her first name only: Lennon. I saw the banner on pollstar.com and at first thought it was Avril, then the name appeared. I read about her album on Amazon. Call me close-minded, but there's only one Lennon.

Another Avril, but named Lennon. Now that's just overkill. Is she from Canada?

Avril, herself, was overkill. :p

I liked Avril... It was nice to get one of these teeny (non-)boppers who had some creativity of her own.

Creativity?? What is creative about her? She can barely sing, she can't play the guitar, even though she came out and said she could. Does she write any of her music? And if she does it's not what I would consider good.
You can't stand American Idol, yet you like her. You really confuse me sometimes.

I thought she wrote most if not all of her songs.
I like her voice, I'm just sick of hearing her - esp that stupid sk8ter boy song.

Agrees with Bekah. She writes a large portion of her own stuff, and her voice isn't that bad... Especially when compared to a "superstar" singer like Britney . Her axe-handling isn't any worse than that of any garage band which has made it big in recent years, either.

Speaking of Avril, I guess she's playing shopping malls now. Several months back she was at Woodfield Mall promoting something or other, blah. Personally I can't stand her, but to each his own..

Her voice is pretty horrible live. And for someone who owns Britney's albums, you have no room to talk. :p
Btw, I'm not a fan of Britney's voice either.

Wow, malls. There's nothing more hardcore then that. ;)

She's a mallrat... Giving back to her kind. And yes, I own Britney albums, and *NSYNC for that matter... Trying to keep all bases covered, as any radiophile should. :p

I own a little bit of everything. Country, rap, classical, and pop. Not to mention a large selections of classic rock, like the Beatles and Beach Boys.

Country.. what? Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks? hehe
It's so odd, and maybe it's because the only music channel I get is CMT, but I'm kind of enjoying Country lately. Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney aren't too bad.

Another one bites the dust...

Kenny who? :p
No, some Shania Twain, a single from Faith Hill. I have a signed Dixie Chicks album which I've never listened to, but they were lying around the station, so I took one.
Then there's the Stars and Stripes Beach Boys "tribute" album (tribute in quotes 'cause the Beach Boys play on all versions... Including backing up Willie's massacre of "Warmth of the Sun") by country artists.

Shania Twain and Faith Hill aren't country. It's even worse then I thought! Which Dixie Chicks album is it? They're actually pretty awesome, and great musicians live.
That's one Beach Boys album I won't ever be getting..

If that or that new "Whiskey Girl" songs come on, I would turn it immediately.

I believe the album is called Fly... That's how much attention I've paid to it. But one of the guys here once babysat for Natalie I guess (not her children, but when she was a spud), so they sent a number of signed albums here.

Really? I've never heard her live.
There's a Lennon, Michigan. For whatever it's worth.
