I thought I'd start a thread for all the Capriati fans out there.
Jenifer is in the semi-finals of the tournament in Berlin tomorrow, she seems to be getting back to some good form lately.

Jen and Matt never dated. They were just friends. btw, they sound like kool people when u say "jen and matt" instead of Jennifer Capriati and Matthew Perry

Such a shame I really thought this would be Jen's time to beat Amile, after her win against Serena. But I guess it wasen't her day.

I'm jealous. American TV basically covers no tennis from the end of the Austrialian Open to the beginning of the French Open

That surprises me I thought that they showed loads of tennis in the US. Nevermind though you have the french open and wimbledon coming up soon, you get coverage of those don't you?

yes fortunately, but they only show americans until the qquarterfinals. for example, they would rather show Ashley harkleroad (USA) vs. qualifier than an early clash between Kim Clijsters and Mary Pierce just because Ashley Harkleroad is American

Really thats kinda ridiculous, so do they only show matches with americans in in the early rounds?

yes, it does not matter if you are ranked 29849238, if you are American, the TV here will show that instead of Kim, JHH, etc.

British TV does show British players but I doubt they'd ever show Arvind Parmer playing over Federer! Henman is featured quite a lot but to be fair he is quite highly ranked.

Yeah the UK definatly show every match of Henmans that they can but not always Gregs

i guess in every country its the same; they always try to show their players, even if they arent that popular......
i kinda like to watch eurosport, the matches there are always good, i mean they dont show evertime player a and player b; it changes a lot.

Jenifer lost today to Myskina. She played a bad match and also her legs were strapped so maby that had something to do with it. But it's going to be an all Russian final on saturday.
