fast food salad blitz

seems ALL the "fast food" places now have all these fonky types of salads..

Wendy's, Arby's, Subway, BK, McD's...

stuff like "apple, baby spinach, almond" :scratch:

I've only had some of the Wendy's ones. BK has a grilled shrimp one that looks pretty good though.

Yeah everybody's geting healthy now a days. I have olny tried the one from Mickey D's it was a Crispy Chicken Salad and it was really good.

I LOVE Bk's salads! They are good with the warm meats on top.... MMMM. Iwas gonna get one of the new arby's salads called matha's vineyard I think. And They have them pre-made in a fridge on the front counter at ours. I looked at it and it was half full, with cold gross looking meat, brownish apples... BARF! I would have been so PISSED if I paid 4 bucks for the pile of ****....:mad: Never had Wendy's. McDonalds uses too many different types of greens.

They make it look all pretty and good on tv but when you get the salad it looks like spoiled food. I like they way McDonalds' uses different greens.

Yeah, everyone's jumping on the healthy bandwagon, even fast-food places. But honestly I don't think their salads are any healthier than their burgers what with all the fried chicken and bacon and ham and fattening dressing they put on them :sick: Its better just to get a garden salad with a vinegrette dressing or no dressing at all.

I like the cripsy chicken:( I've never had one with bacon though bu I would like one with just veggies and a ranch dressing.

I used to work at Bk and I used to custom make my salds and they were GOOD! I would just have lettuce, carrots, the purple cabbage stuff, croutons, and ranch. And MAN were they good! Every once in a while I would add the Grilled Chicken too.

I don't know if Boston Market is considered fast food, but I like their side ceasar salads a lot.
