(London-AP) -- Considering how gaga Oasis gets over The Beatles, imagine how they are now that they've recruited Ringo Starr's son to play drums. Noel Gallagher tells the B-B-C Zak Starkey has been working with Oasis in the studio and will join them on tour next month. Gallagher says they've known him for a while and they asked him to play on a few songs. He says Starkey is "a good boy, he's got a good haircut...good shoes -- which is important.'' When asked if Oasis is become The Beatles Part Two, Gallagher said, "As long as I'm not becoming Paul McCartney, it'll be all right.''

And I'm sure Macca would give a crap if he were the first Noel Gallagher.

I like Oasis, for the most part. I don't like their attitudes, but most of their music is enjoyable to me.

Meanwhile, Sean Lennon's hot and heavy with one of Mic Jagger's daughters:

Lennon, Jagger romance develops - http://www.azcentral.com/ent/celeb/0505lennon.html

NEW YORK - Lennon and Jagger are dating. That's Sean Lennon and Elizabeth Jagger.

Elizabeth's mother, Jerry Hall, tells the London Mirror that her daughter with Mick Jagger is in love with John Lennon's son, Sean. She says they've been dating for two months.

Hall says they've had "family sing-alongs" with Lennon at the piano. She says "he writes beautiful poetry."

I think it was the NYDN which had this story late last week. I was gonna let Sean off the hook about it. :p

I've liked pretty much everything that's come out from them, but I haven't bought an album since their American debut.
