I seem to remember alot about the 2004 World Series *winners* back in early April  ......but it is still early IMO to do anything other than support your team and cheer them on and wish them the best, and that is what this thread is about.....so........GO YANKEES!!!

Exactly, very early, but still fun to talk about. :)

Just like the last time they were in first place it will be short lived.

Just like the last time they were in first place it will be short lived.

must be talking about the RedSox

 now who was it that won the division last year??

Oh yeah, That would be the Yankees :sunny:

Yankees have a tough 2 weeks coming up, i doubt they will be able to stay on top. Red Sox will take the lead again and they will win the division this year and who knows the yanks might not even make the playoffs. We are missing Trot and Nomar and yet we are 1/2 a game behind the yanks and we won our two series with against them and even sweeped them in new york.

And in less than 24hrs(about 13) my prediction comes true Yanks go back to 2nd place and the Red Sox take first.

Jeez. All of you. Wait until one team is ahead by 3-4 games before getting excited.

Then again, the Sox were ahead by about that, and couldn't nail anything down. :o

Morning Dave :sunny:
Like PrincessKT said, it is just for fun:)
I take it a day at a time, and don't make predictions for the WS based on a 1/2 game lead....but it is sort of entertaining everytime the Sox get ahead to see the pennant already *in the bag* :rolleye2:

I just like seeing Luis get worked up. He starts making all these predictions like he's Nostradamus or something. :p

 if it comes true, maybe I ask him to pick me the winning lotto numbers;)

ok, what is your prediction for tonight's games and scores??

Venisenvy
May 21st, 2004, 03:43 PM
Yanks and Sox both will win tonight. I see the Yankees winning by more runs than the red sox since they are going up against Benoit and Red Sox have to face Halladay. For runs i have no idea nothing comes to me.

lol well we all have our bad days, my gift is still young but my predictions come true most of the time. I shouldn't have doubted myself from what i have said before, the yankees will not keep 1st place for long periods of time. Once again Red Sox are on top and Yankees are were they belong.

Venisenvy

And the red sox take a larger lead today. That was a tough loss for the Yanks.

Twice the umps have helped the Yanks lose on this road trip. *sigh* oh, well.

rain delays seem to be a positive thing for the Yankees;) I will be listening to the game tonight on my way to upstate NY (just as soon as I can pick up a station that isn't broadcasting the Sox) then I can watch the games ALL weekend:D

So you did go?

Yep, I did. My friend and I were thinking of things to do that night, and I just threw that out there, and he said, "why didn't you tell me sooner?? we could have planned a whole extravaganza" lol

Oh well, even though we were soaked before we got to the stadium, it was so fun.

My last time at Oriole Park I ended up getting soaked too. It was going to be O's/Sox maybe three years ago.
