1979 - George, Paul, and Ringo, at a party celebrating Eric Clapton’s marriage to George’s ex-wife Pattie, stage an impromptu concert. They play a number of old rock-and-roll hits and Beatles tunes. Other musicians joining in are Mick Jagger, Denny Laine, Eric Clapton, Lonnie Donegan, and Ginger Baker. Beatles reunion rumors flare up around the world in response.

I have always been amazed how George and Eric remained friends for so many years considering what transpired between George, Pattie and Eric.

The Concert for George is just an amazing example of how special George was to Eric.

It's ok, George didn't like Patty any more. He pretty much said so. And then she cheated on Eric too if I'm not mistaken. They were probably glad to get rid of her.

I remember reading about her in the 80's. She was living with one of the owner's of the Hard Rock Cafe.

Olivia was definitely George's soulmate. Hopefully Eric has finally found his.
