Everyone says Tim Henman has never reached the quarterfinals of any grand slam other than Wimbledon, but congradts to Tim! Clay is VERY different from grass. Tim Henman is on a roll!!!!!

CONGRATS to Maria Sharapova. She reaches the quarterfinals. She is playing very well. I hope she makes it far.

Mauresmo is playing very well. I think she finally shaken off her nerves of playing in front of the home crowd. She is definitely a favorite to win this thing.

Anastasia played an opponent that could have killed her in every round. I never thought she would stay alive to reach the quarterfinals. I must give her credit, but she is definitely an amazing phenomonen to see.

Yaaaaaaaay! I just watched Tim play an awesome game of tennis against Chela and he is now in the semis for the first time in the French and the first time in a grand slam outside Wimbledon! He plays Coria next, which will be extremely tough.

If this had happened at Wimbledon he'd probably be getting slated and torn to shreds in the media and by some of the public(usually, I find, people who don't know much about tennis)for losing. However, so far all I've heard is good things about him. And so it should be. Tim had never gone beyond the fourth round of a grand slam other than Wimbledon before and he was the first British male player to get to the semis of the French Open for many decades! I'm very proud of him and so should he be.
