from bretney@wob:

Two of the guys from Maroon 5 are hosting Much Music's Much On Demand right now...and they had just played JT's "Rock Your Body" and then went to Adam (the lead singer of Maroon 5) and he said this:

"I'd like to dedicate Britney Spears' "Toxic" to my friend Sam. He played me the song when the Britney record came out like 6 months ago, and I immediately fell in love. I think it's one of the best dance records out there right now. So Sam, this ones for you!"

then the other guy (didn't catch his name) sang the guitar/violin opening music and then the video played.

I like the fact that someone from a rock band liked Britney Spears' "Toxic." That song's had a strong showing the past 3 months or so! I think that Britney's really attracted more listeners with this album who wouldn't have gotten into her pop songs before. And from Maroon 5, whom I like their album and that catchy "This Love"--sounds like it could have been released in summer 1989, but it's very now a song.

Toxic is a hot track..

I don't really like anything else from the album but I may buy it because I enjoy Toxic..
