Me and my dad had ground passes for yesterday at Queens and we saw Ferrer v Patience and Gasquet v Andreev and a little bit of Mirnyi v Mahut. The first two matches were quite long and Ferrer kept losing his temper and had code violations! He lost in the end after a tough 3 setter. Then, when me any my dad were trying to find the toilets we went down the wrong way and we saw all these ball girls and line judges. As we were walking along this woman asked us politely if we could move to the side so we did. I thought I heard what sounded like a familiar American voice and I froze. Then no other than Andre Agassi whizzes past me with Roddick following closely behind. My dad said he turned round and my face was a picture! hehe. I didn't get a chance to ask for an autograph because they were moving too quickly and I was way too star struck! And, not surprisingly, there was a bunch of young girls behind Roddick chasing him hehe. When we finally decided we'd gone the wrong way for the toilets and came out of the tunnel between the courts my dad saw Brad Gilbert but I only saw the back of his head. I recognised the hat though. I almost missed him and my dad said "Come on Hayley, you're not on the ball are you?" Then, as were queueing to go onto court 1 to see Gasquet's match(we had to wait for people to come out) I turned around and spotted Mario Ancic and Goran Ivanisevic. Then coming out of court 1 David Felgate(head of the LTA and Henman's former coach)passed me and my dad and I pointed it out to my dad but he didn't see so to get him back for earlier I said "Come on dad, you're not on the ball are you?" hehe :p Then an ex-British player, Mark Petchey, came out and then Peter Fleming who is soooo tall, I felt dwarfed! We also saw what looked like players around the court because they have huge bags with them and look very sporty. It's hard to explain but they just had a look about them that made them seem like professional tennis players we just didn't know who they were.

I'm going to see the semi-finals on Saturday, my dad managed to get some returns a few weeks ago. I'm hoping and praying that Roddick makes it to the semis so I can see him again. I've seen him play once but that was in 2001 when he was up and coming. In fact, it was then I became a fan of his.

Here's yesterday's results:

first of all, muffin!!! you met your idol!!! i know why you froze. You were imagining Andy Roddick naked weren't you? Anyways you should have fought off those girls that were chasing behind him.

second of all, u saw Mario Ancic. He is cool, dude.

third of all, (to Seles3) Agassi lost? omg he is going downhill; I didn't expect this performance on grass.

Yeah, I got my wish. It was so nice to see him play again although I think if I had been close to the court I may have wanted some armour! I kept one eye on the match and one eye on the speed gun. His serves were huge! He hit over 140mph regularly and hit 153mph twice. He broke the record on Friday by hitting 153mph. I think the rest of the crowd looked at the speend gun too because the two times he hit 153mph he had a huge round of applause. I only saw Roddick on court today so no chance for an autograph but I was just happy to see him play and win. Boris Becker passed us though! I saw Andrew Castle(ex-player, now UK TV presenter), John Lloyd(ex-player and now BBC pundit)and Sue Barker(ex-player and now well loved BBC presenter). Sue must be nearly 50 but she looks very good for her age.

The first match was Lee v Grosjean and this was a very good match with Grosjean coming from behind. Lee had his chances but just couldn't take them. I also saw a bit of one of the doubles semi-finals, the two Bryan brothers v Mirnyi and Zimonjic. This was also a very enjoyable match with some great rallies. I had a great time and I hope to go again next year.

:) Yay! Roddick won today with a win over Sebastian Grosjean. He won 7-6, 6-4 for his second consecutive Stella Artois title. Well done Andy!

Federer beat Mardy Fish 6-0, 6-3 in Halle and Sharapova beat Golovin in DFS Classic Edgbaston.
