I'm going on vacation next week that will take me to Disneyland. One night that I will be there, a tribute band called Hard Day's Night will be playing the House of Blues. I expect I'll go to the show, but I was curious if anyone was familiar with them.

I think they've been here before, but I've never gone to see them.

Am I helpful or what? :D

If they can get a gig at the HOB, I have a feeling they're probably worth seeing.

If you say so. I saw some pretty bad acts at the HoB Boston, and it wasn't open mic night. But most of the acts I saw were good.

HoB Monday, Edison Field Tuesday.

Well, they were pretty good. They did two sets, early songs dressed in the black and white suits and a set of later songs dressed as the Peppers, for which they all put on false mustaches.

Sounds like every other Beatles coverband.

No. I know a number of cover bands where the guys don't get dressed up at all. Well, of course they get dressed, they don't perform nude. Well maybe for the "Why Don't We Do it in the Road."

*snorts*

"I can't be nude. I can't be nude. You don't mind?"

Something an 86 year old man said this week....

Well, I guess it sounds like every other Beatles coverband I've ever seen.

I guess in Vegas everybody has to dress up... Kinda like the Flying Elvises. No, I've seen a few bands not get dressed up at all. Most notable Beatlejuice, featuring Brad Delft of Boston.

That name's awesome! haha

Actually, these were groups that toured around, weren't anything local. I only go to coverbands that dress like them, don't you know. *nose in the air* :p

What? Does Michael Keaton rank up there with Ben Stiller?

Absolutely not. Though as Batman...maybe.

The Beatles rank far above, however, and the name Beatlejuice is so not worthy.

The Silver Beatles?

Don't answer that. :p

The Beatles were once called the Silver Beatles, except it was originally spelled Beetles. Of course that was before they hit it big. I believe they called themselves that in tribute to Buddy Holly and the Crickets.

Any other questions for me? I know you had to ask cuz you weren't sure about the name yourself. :p:D
