Pepsi Blue

Did anyone else ever drink it? Was I the only person who actually liked it? It used to be my favorite soda. :o

One of my friends brought me one from the cafeteria where she works a few months ago. She works out of state so I thought maybe they still sold it up there. It wasn't until I was halfway through with it that I realized the sell by date was for sometime in 2003! :blueeek: I still finished it though!

Hey, we have pepsi blue in Australia. First tried it when my Dad got KFC for dinner.

Anyway, yep, pepsi blue is pretty good stuff.

Yeah - we sure do - if I am thinking of the right pepsi blue - we have pepsi and it's blue - I've seen it at the grocery store. But I never get, that time I tried the pepsi blue was a once only. :)

OMG, so not fair! It's been gone for a long time here in the States. It just fizzled out, no big announcements or anything. It was getting harder and harder to find stores that still sold it, and then it was gone forever. If I had known they were taking it off the market, I would have bought more. :cry:

I guess I've got weird taste in drinks since it seems like every new soda I like gets discontinued. Like Surge, that was another of my fave sodas that's gone now. Oh well. I'll live, lol. :)

Hmm, that's interesting. I thought Pepsi stopped making it entirely. Maybe it's determined by the local bottlers whether or not to keep distributing it. Either that or the bottles at the store are old as hell, either one, lol. :laugh:

I know that when it was available where I live, it was in 20oz bottles, 2 liter bottles, and cans. It was everywhere! I don't think it ever made it to the fountain drinks, though.

Oh yeah. Well it is where I live, anyway. It's been gone for years. It was great, it had an interesting flavor, kinda fruity and citrusy. I really don't know how to describe it. It was one of those sodas you either love or hate, kinda like Pepsi Blue apparently. :rolleyes:

Pepsi Blue was horrible and it didn't help that Coke released vanilla Coke around the same time..

Oh well, an expiration date of 2003 isn't that bad, compared to people who buy Crystal Pepsi or Coke II on ebay.. that probably have dates like 1993 and stuff

Or even earlier. Coke II came out in the 80s, I think. That's just nasty. I guess I could see if they keep it for sentimental purposes or for the bottles or whatever. If they're drinkin' that stuff, though... nasty! :sick:

Wow, it was everywhere where I lived. It was only really hard to find right before they got rid of it, when the stores were selling off the last of it.:(

Well, it was bright blue for one thing, lol. It was supposed to be a mix of Pepsi Cola with a berry flavor. They called it a "Berry Cola Fusion." A lot of people didn't like it, though. I really can't say why because I liked it. :confused:

Yeah, Wild Cherry Pepsi is good. I like it. Seems like I like all the Pepsi varieties, but not Pepsi itself, lol. :)

Me too, lol. I thought it was great! I think it came out in '92 or '93, so I was either in 5th or 6th grade, depending. I started drinking weird sodas at a young age. :laugh:
