So am I. I never went on my Foreign Language class trip. They went to Germany, Switzerland, France and England. I had two opportunities to go, but LanieMom couldn't take off work to join me, so I stayed stateside.

Hey pinky, here's a question for ya. Do you think I have an accent? My soon to be roommate says I have a northern Ohio accent. I'm like "Ok......" And the weird part is, she lives like an hour from me, so we both live in the same general area, yet she claims she doesn't have an accent.

Northern Ohio people have accents and Southern Ohio people have accents but us central Ohio people have absolutely no accents.

In fact, most newscasters and other TV/Radio personalities are sent to Columbus to learn how to speak with no accent.

Man, I have a messed up accent. I have my midwest, then I have the tiny bit of southern twang, then I have the west coast.

Seriously, no one knows where I'm from until I start getting angry and yell at someone. Then you can tell I'm from the Midwest.
